Editing FAQs

Q: What software do I need to edit the printable template?

A: You will need WinRAR or other file extractor installed on your computer and

  • Microsoft Word (version 2007 or later) for .DOCX Templates
  • Adobe Photoshop (version CS6 or later) for .PSD Templates

Q: Can I edit using my phone or tablet?

A: No. You will need to edit the printable templates on your laptop or computer. Files will need to be downloaded directly to your laptop or computer.

Q: How do I personalize the templates?

A: Here are the steps:

  1. To customize the .DOCX or .PSD templates, you must have Microsoft Word (version 2007 or later) or Adobe Photoshop (version CS6 or later) installed on your laptop or computer, respectively.
  2. Download and extract the template file (.ZIP) to your local drive.
  3. Open the Readme.txt file or Guide and Instructions PDF to find the font download links. Download and install them on your laptop or computer. However, you may use your own fonts if you like.
  4. Open your .DOCX template in Microsoft Word or .PSD template in Adobe Photoshop.
  5. To edit/personalize the template, select a text box and type over with your party details.  You can change the font styles, size & color and even move them around.
  6. Don’t forget to save your edited file.

Q: Will the fonts stay the same as in the template preview?

A: Yes. But you need to install the fonts first through the font download links provided in the Readme.txt file or Guide and Instructions PDF. If you are using an Apple computer (Mac OS), make sure to restart your computer for the fonts to take effect.

Q: Why can't I edit the .DOCX template?

A: If you can’t seem to edit the .DOCX template or save the file, check if it says “Protected View” on top. If yes, click on the “Enable Editing” button. Then, on the menu, click on File > Save As > (in different filename).

Q: Why is the color of .DOCX template different on screen?

A: For .DOCX template, do not worry if you see that the design background seems lighter in color. It is only because it is in the header/footer layer. The true color of the design as advertised will be printed.

Q: Can I change the graphics and background colors?

A: It depends on what you purchased.

  • For .DOCX Templates, the graphics and backgrounds cannot be changed. Only the text can be edited using Microsoft Word.
  • For .PSD Templates, you can adjust the color/hue of the graphics and backgrounds using Adobe Photoshop but adjustments may be limited to due the nature of the artwork (i.e., watercolor).
  • For Edited .JPEG purchases, no design changing; just color/size/word changes to fonts and when possible, placement of items.

Q: Why can't I edit the .PSD template in Photoshop?

A: Make sure that you have Adobe Photoshop, not Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Q: Can I ask for changes after I receive the file?

A: It depends on what you purchased.

  • No, for .DOCX & .PSD template and for graphic cliparts and illustrations.
  • Yes, for Edited .JPEG purchases as each purchase includes one (1) round of edits. No design changing; just color changes to fonts, spelling or information corrections, and when possible, placement of items.

Q: What is considered a round of edits?

A: A round of edits consists of me sending you the file to review, and you sending back changes or adjustments that you need. That would be one (1) round of editing. Each round may contain more than one edit or adjustment, but once you send the email with the edits you need, that is considered one (1) round. This is only applicable for Edited .JPEG purchases.

Printing FAQs

Q: Will the invitation print the same as on screen?

A: There will be slight variations in color from screen to print. The main reasons for this are the monitor settings, printer settings, and paper chosen. We create our templates with quality graphics and at 300dpi (industry standard). Usually, things will print darker than what you see on your screen. It is highly recommended that you perform a test print first before proceeding to mass printing.

Q: How do I print the templates?

A: Printing can be done on your home printer, at the office or print shops near you. It’s highly suggested to save your edited file as PDF as well if you plan to send it to your local print shops to retain the font styles.

When printing, make sure that the design is set to “Actual Size” or “No Scaling” and not “Fit to Page” to keep the dimensions correct. Perform a trial test first before you proceed with mass printing. Trim along indicated cut marks.

Q: Can I get a refund on a digital download or exchange it with something else?

Please make sure to read the description and fully decide on the product description before you order. But please contact us if you have any problems with your order.
